| Annette: Ever since I was a little girl, I have always loved to sew. My second daugter was born in 1993 and soon after I was introduced to the world of heirloom sewing and smocking. Immediately I fell in love with all the beautiful garments I saw in the heirloom sewing magazines. In recent years, I have begun to pass on my love to my two oldest daughters. As a home school family, we asked a few friends if they and their daughters would be interested in coming to our home to learn to knit, sew, and crochet. To my surprise, we have had to add a second class just so everyone will fit. At our last class, we had so many sewing machines and irons going that we kept tripping the electical breakers! Even so, the girls have loved it and are all developing their skills.
Mission Statement:
Our aim is to provide specialty laces, fabrics, patterns, and instructional books for heirloom sewing and smocking that cannot be found at your local sewing store.
